The main focus of analysis in this caserelates to Apple Inc. The paper will identify the company’sessential product portfolio and the branding strategies that havebeen developed. Additionally, its segmentation policy will also beintegrated in the analysis.
Apple Company isone the largest electronics producers in the world. The deal in avariety of products such as iPhone smartphones, Mac Computers, AppleTV, and Apple Watch smartwatch among other products (Dudovskiy,2016). Additionally, the company deals in a variety of softwareproducts such as a web browser known as Safari, and a media player(iTunes) (Dudovskiy, 2016). One feature that has set the companyabove its competitors is the focus on quality. The company’sinnovation department ensures that the latest technology isintegrated into the production process.
The Apple Company’s market is segmented into various sections.These include geographic, demographic, behavioral and psychographic(Dudovskiy, 2016). The geographic segmentation is based on religionand density. On the other hand, demographic segmentation focuses onage, gender, life-cycle stage, income and occupation (Dudovskiy,2016). The behavioral division of the business integrates the degreeof loyalty, benefits sought, personality, and user status. Finally,the psychographic segmentation caters for the social classes andlifestyles of the target market (Dudovskiy, 2016). The company’sproducts are therefore, aimed at meeting the demands of the market.
