Everyyear, millions of people in the world die as a result of heartattacks. Heart attacks are dangerous because they sometimes comeunnoticed. The attacks happen when the heart muscles lack enoughsupply of blood to nourish them. The rates of heart attacks vary amidthe males and females depending on the age brackets. However, womenare severely affected by the attacks than their male counterparts.

Elevated levels ofthe bad type of cholesterol increase the risk of heart attacks inmen. Besides, physical stress is highly linked to higher rates ofattacks in males than females. Females are better when it comes tocontrolling stress than males. So, men are more likely to have moreattacks than the females because women use many ways such as cryingto release tension and stress as opposed to males who pretend to bestrong but end up with heart attacks.

Besides,using Aspirins has been proved to be a safe and effective way ofpreventing or managing heart attacks especially in the elderlyindividuals in the society. In fact, taking a low dosage of Aspirinon a daily basis for ten years reduces the risks of attacks by aboutten percent.

Thegovernment or research institutions should dedicate more resources tostudy whether people should start taking Aspirins while still youngto counter attacks in the future. In this case, the future of heartdiseases treatment and management is likely to be bright because thedrug will lower the risks of suffering from attacks and othercardiovascular diseases. Nevertheless, it is important to conductfurther studies on the likely consequences of using Aspirin on adaily basis.
