However, while doing so, they fail to realize that theforemost cause of many diseases, such as obesity, is foods withexcessive cholesterols. Indisputably, everyone wants to be healthy,but that does not mean that whatever is to be eaten needs to be cheapand also hazardous. If the society had the opportunity to live ingood health, then it is obvious that everyone would choose to eatnon-harmful foods. Fast foods restaurants stand to be blamed forselling foods that are inherently harmful.

Tobegin with, fast food cafes need to be held liable for the pervasiveobesity in the U.S. The restaurants literally make profits by causingharm to the health of the American citizens. Besides, they make ithard for a majority of individuals to eat in a healthy way. Manyurban regions have places where fresh meals tend to be much morechallenging to get as opposed to the fast foods (Burgoine, 2016). Asa result, the fast food cafes become the only alternatives thatresidents can get their nourishment. However, in these outlets, it isclose to impossible to be offered healthy meals. In some fast foodrestaurants, most items contain extremely large quantities of sodiumand fats (Poti, 2014). Besides, the only reason that makes fast foodsto have great tastes is due to the amount of oil that the cooks use.Unfortunately, oil makes people to become overweight and ultimatelyobese.

Moreover,first food restaurants are believed to incorporate special chemicalsin their meals, especially fries, to enhance their freshly appearanceeven when they are expired. It is coupled with the idea that theirmanagements make selling possible by convincing customers throughcheap pricing and attractive commercials (Poti, 2014).The companieshave a way of making consumers reason that it is their responsibilityto buy even if they do not wish to through advertising. For example,due to the McDonalds kid’s advert, children tend to believe that ifthey consume and adore the products, they may consequently have anopportunity to be with Donald. Unfortunately, they are made to beaddicted to the taste of the products and become overweight. Manyyoung kids have succumbed to their conditions as a result of eatingchicken laced with the various chemicals (Poti, 2014). Because of thelow food prices and large packaging, many people never pay attentionto what they consume so long as it is tasty.

Conclusively,there are a number of reasons that make the fast food companiesaccountable for offering foods that are naturally unhealthy. Thecompanies are the main agents of meals that cause obesity uponunsuspecting consumers. Most of their foodstuffs are relativelycheap, and made from harmful products. The restaurants havepersuasive ways of advertising that ultimately lead people to buywithout realizing that the food items are actually hazardous andunnatural. Unfortunately, even while the fast food joints continuethe sale of harmful products, they impress the government by the factthat they lead to economic growth.
