Hi, I am in agreement with the fact that decentralized trainingallows employees to be free to train at their convenient locations.I’ve been thinking, would it have been better to view theconvenience from the instructional point of view? As a result ofdistributed authority, employees are more empowered to participateand make better decisions.

Hello, I completely agree with you in the reasoning behind the highturnover rates. Training can be tedious and repetitive, especiallywhen it goes on for long hours. In addition, given that the traineeshad to travel long distances and go through lots of stress. As aresult, some opted out.

Hello, decentralized training is indeed beneficial to trainees. Withregards to the limitations, I beg to disagree with the fact thatskipping training is a common occurrence. While making the decisionto decentralize the training program, the characteristics of thetrainees have to be take into account and this eliminates possibledrawbacks.

Hi, performance appraisal is a way of determining the training needsof employees. However, there are employees that will hide in the nameof their departments. As a result, individual training needs might bedifficult to identify. The assessment, therefore, should be done atindividual level.

Hello, I find it right in your claim that turnover rates were highdue to long training sessions. Redundancy leads to boredom and thisis the most likely reason why some trainees opted to withdraw fromthe session. However, it might not have been because of thecentralized approach per se. The major factor to blame was the way inwhich the centralized system was designed. Had there been regularbreaks in between certain periods, the turnover rates could have beenlower.
