PARK VISIT 1
Experience at Bank of America Winter Village at Bryant Park was one of a lifetime. I decided to visit the park in order to learn and also to interact with different people across New York and America at large. It is a wonderful place to visit and there is no admission fee, especially to skate. I have been a fan of skating for long and this was a moment I had to utilize in order to be part of the real experience at the park.
Other than skating, the shopping experience I had at the park was one of its own kind. Within the Park I noticed several holiday shops and artisanal boutiques. These shops offered several and unique items such as jewelry, local foods and decorative grounds among many other items. One unique thing that I realized is that the shops had items that could cater for at least each age group. Children, teenagers and mature adults had something to buy. I was particularly interested in the jewelry sold in these shops.
The weather pattern at the park can best be described as that of the winter season. Skating is the major event at the park. The skating ground is fully covered in snow and all the skaters have to dress in heavy and warm jackets to keep warm, and also as a precautionary measure. Around the skating ground were dining areas such as snack-bar, holiday shops and the Bryant Park kiosks from which visitors could purchase items and also have amazing meals or snacks. Below are just a few images illustrating the experience I had at the Park.
Above all the activities I took part in and the items I bought and observed, I mostly enjoyed the skating experience. I have not been so perfect at it, but I managed to feel part of the whole event. Should I ever have the chance to visit Bryant Park again in future, I will ensure that it’s a much better experience than what I had.
