HelloLa Valla,

Imust also admit that the Roosevelt’s New Deal was a failure. Iagree with you that the deal brought up the system that could makethe American citizens depend on the government (The Library Congress,2016). Just like Dr. M. Santos’ quote that you used, I also tend tosay that the system did not favor the individuals who work, produce, and respect the law. I also agree with your interpretation of thisquote. Apparently, Roosevelt thought that democracy means that everyAmerican citizen should be provided for, but this resulted in a debtof the country. Evidently, and as you put it, the system of PresidentRoosevelt brought more harm than good.

HelloEmma,

Iagree with you that the New Deal program brought about the regulationof the American economy. Apparently and as you have put it, themajority of the American citizens did not agree on the effect of theNew Deal (TheLibrary Congress, 2016).Like you said, it appeared like the rich wanted to get richer at theexpense of the poor. The powerful and wealthy could influence thepoor who had the majority votes to vote for some officials ingovernment for them (the rich and powerful), to gain more power. Inmy opinion, the individuals with massive businesses could make moresales, while the owners of the small business suffered henceresulting in bankruptcy. As such, I agree with you that the New Dealwas a failure.
